The HoverMag® magnetic plates are innovative magnetic adapters for laboratory automation. With precisely height-adjustable magnets, compact dimensions and the strongest neodymium magnets, they enable precise and safe separation of magnetic beads, e.g. for NGS or nucleic acid extractions.
The robust, anodized surface ensures durability in everyday laboratory use, while the magnetic damping mechanism supports assay stability – Made in Germany for the highest quality.

Precise height adjustment of the magnets .
A special feature of the HoverMag® magnetic plate adapters is the simple but precise height adjustment of the magnets of up to 5 mm.
This allows the position of the beads in the collection step to be perfectly adapted to the PCR or deep-well plate used, making it easier to program the liquid handler.
The position of the magnets is easy to read at all times thanks to the visual scale on the side.
Strongest magnets .
For optimum performance, only the strongest neodymium magnets are used in the HoverMag® magnetic plate adapter.

Magnet-based damping mechanism .
The innovative magnet-based damping protects labware and samples in automated processes by damping vertical forces, e.g. from pipette tips.
This compensates for errors in the height alignment of the liquid handler and increases process reliability.

SBS footprint .
Thanks to the SBS footprint, the HoverMag® fits into any standard liquid handling system, e.g. from TECAN®, Hamilton® or Beckmann®.
Thanks to its 890 g mass, the magnetic adapter sits securely in the deck, even during fast and demanding pipetting processes.
The installation height is selected so that regular deep-well plates can also be used.

The HoverMag® is made of a special aluminum alloy that is highly resistant to corrosion and chemical substances.
The blue anodized coating further increases resistance and protects the magnetic plate.
