Applications .
Our primaAMP polymerases are ideally suited for genotyping analyses of copy number variants or single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
The primaAMP DNA polymerase generates adenine overhangs at the 3′-end and can thus also be used for TA cloning.
Due to the high speed of Taq, PCR amplifications with primaAMP can run in fast mode.
One of the standard methods for time-saving detection of a specific DNA sequence in plasmid constructs is colony PCR.
Transformed bacteria can be lysed in the PCR reaction mix and the released DNA directly amplified.
